How To Setup Email On Android Phone / Tablet – Android Device Email

Add a New Email Account

1. Go to google play store and download the mail app you want to use in setting up your email(Personally recommend my mail or gmail)
2. Open the mail app  and elect “others"  on the options
3. Enter your full email address and password tap Next.
4. Choose the type of email account you will be using if asked
   1. POP3 will download the emails from the server and store them on your phone.
   2. IMAP will store the emails on the server and show a cached copy on your phone. IMAP is best for most cases.
5. Most email apps sinc with your settings automtically and starts working, if it does not scroll down to fill other information requested

Incoming Server Settings

1. Username: Enter your full email address
2. Password: Enter the password for your email account
3. Server: This is your domain name preceded by “mail." like mail.domainname.com
4. Port and Security Type:
5. If you’re using POP, choose either:
6. Once the settings are entered, tap Next.

Outgoing Server Settings

1. Select Require Sign-In.
2. Username: Enter your full email address
3. Password: Enter the password for your email account
4. Server: This is your domain name preceded by “mail." like mail.example.com.
5. For SMTP Port and Security Type, choose either
6. Once the settings are entered, tap Next.
